"Rielly Lumber was founded in 1995 by Andy Rielly. In 1984, Andy began his lumber career at Sauder Moulding Division, one of the original value added mills in BC. From there he went on to manage the West Coast Reman division of Macmillan Bloedel. In that position he worked exclusively with Western Red Cedar and, on a custom basis, made the products that the big Cedar mills did not want to produce. Serving the North American MB distribution network, Andy learned the nuances of the major Cedar markets in the US and Canada.
In 1995 it was time to evolve into a new company and provide the same service to stocking wholesale distributors throughout the continent. In 2010 we invested in our own manufacturing facility which enabled Rielly lumber to have more control over the lumber production processes. As duty and trade uncertainties are resolved, the plan is to continue to invest in manufacturing of Rielly Lumber here in BC.”
